When Leota and Bernard (the original L&B) installed an in-ground swimming pool at the ranch in the 70s there were not many Wyoming dude ranches with pools, which made the Lazy L&B Ranch stand out. Fast forward 40+ years and the pool was in need of some serious TLC. Without a single swimming pool maintenance company or contractor in all of Wyoming it crossed our minds that we might be better off just filling it in. Thankfully, we eventually found a company out of Idaho that was willing to figure it out for us. We’re not sure they knew exactly what they were getting into, what with our remote location, Wyoming winters and mountain weather but they persevered and wrapped things up just in the nick of time for the first guests of our 2021 season.
